	There are many reasons to bring your dog for daycare at Amercian Kennels. With us, your pet will spend supervised time in an open, naturally lit, cage-free environment, playing with other dogs in his/ her size range. In our daycare, we focus on play as well as healthy social interaction. So, if you have a single dog household and wish your dog was better with other animals... or your family just has a schedule that doesn’t allow for daily trips to your local dog park, daycare with American Kennels is a perfect place for your pet to play their day away! FREQUENLTY ASKED QUESTIONS What kind of dogs can come for daycare? We accept all kinds of dogs, as long as they meet our health, size and temperment requirements. Does my dog need to be vaccinated before coming to daycare? Yes, we require all dogs to be up-to-date with Rabies, Distemper Parvo (DHLPP), and Bordatella vaccines. Written proof of vaccination is required from your vet prior to sign up. Can my dog be fed during his stay at American Kennels? Absoloutely. If your dog requires a midday feeding, we will gladly feed him/ her as per your instructions at no additional charge. We will include the food, as long as long as it's a diet that we have in stock. However, if your dog is on a prescription diet, or eats a food that we don't stock , we ask you to bring some with you to avoid an upset stomach. Can my dog get groomed while in daycare? Of course! Our professional grooming staff will meet with you upon drop-off to discuss what you’d like done and will have your dog looking amazing when you pick him/ her up. Will you take my dog for outside walks? Although your dog is going to be getting plenty of exercise playing with his/ her new friends, we gladly take dogs for individual walks upon request…. At no additional charge. What are you rates? We offer very competitive daily rates as well as reduced rates for weekly and monthly packages. Give us a call to find out which is the best for you/ What do I do if my dog needs to stay overnight? Not a problem at all! American Kennels offers overnight boarding for both dogs and cats. Whether you're planning a vacation, or just have to be out for the evening, we will be glad to keep an eye on your pet.
